Description
- This will be a Weeknight Night only league with games starting as early as 6:25pm. Weather permitting.
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Nights at 6:25pm will be typical. (Days are subject to change based on facility needs.)
- Game Locations: Bob Lewis Park
- Cost: $52 + $3 service fee per player non-refundable fee at time of registration and $20/game for each player. Must pay fee at the game with cash before game time, no coins will be accepted.
- Team Requirements: 14 players per Roster minimum and Maximum of 20 players per Roster

- Team Meeting: April 16, 2023 at 6:00pm - Location: 828 Sports Lab -342 Dillingham Circle, Asheville, NC 28805.
- Start Date: June 03, 2024 - (10 game season plus end of season tournament)
- Typically only one game per week. There will be an occasional 2 games per week as weather permits
- Age Requirement: 18+ (Player is eligible on their 18th birthday)
- Restriction: Player may not be actively playing or committed to a college, at any level
- League will be capped at 10 teams due to field space.

Register under the "18+ Player without a team option, tryouts", do not register under a team name. This is important as we are able to notify you if something changes with the Tryout date. - Tryouts : April 28, 2024 at 4pm - Location: Oakley Park, 715 Fairview Rd., Asheville, NC 28803
- Being placed on a team is not guaranteed, spots are limited.
- You will be reimbursed your registration if you do not get selected on a team. The $3 fee Sports Connect charges, cannot be reimbursed.
ABOUT US
The Asheville ABL is a Men's Adult Baseball League in Asheville, NC managed under the WNCYSA. Our organization began in 2007. The league consists of local professional adults aging from 18 and up. Now there is another option; other than softball; for the baseball enthusiast around Asheville.

We are always looking for new teams and individual players.
If you are ready to get back in the swing of things please feel free to contact us regarding opportunities with the Asheville ABL organization. Players become eligible on the day they turn 18. No player can be actively playing college baseball. This includes college players on break for the summer. We are an all wood bat league.

3. Complete 2015 Player Participation Form for each player on the Team's Roster
Individual Registration"New Players without a Team" :
1. Players will be drafted at the one tryout date. The Asheville ABL
can not guarantee every player will be drafted during the 2015 season.
2. The league is now 18 and over.
Player age requirements
-Players become eligible on their 18th birthday.
Player Restrictions
-Players can not be in high school
-Players can not be an active college player (Any division)
-Restrictions for ex-pro players (see coach)
3. Please send an e-mail to [email protected] if you have any questions about the draft.
4. Player fees will be $170/player this year.
5. If you are returning player from 2014 and would like be on a different team you can be placed in the new player draft and tryout on the date listed below.
Important Dates for 2015
AABL New Player Tryout/Draft: May 31, 2015 (All coaches are required to be at the tryouts even if they will not be drafting players)
Location: North Henderson High School
Time: 2:30pm
RAIN OR SHINE!!!
Deadline for Team Deposit Fee ($1,100): May 31, 2015*
* Coaches if team deposits are not paid you will need to have your players come to the tryout date and pay individually. These players will then be required to enter the draft and treated as a new player to the league.
Deadline for Remainder of Team Fee($1,000): June 14, 2015
Team Rosters Due: June 21, 2015
Regular Season: June 28, 2015
